The Minister of Fishing and Maritime and Port Infrastructure Visits the Autonomous Port of Nouadhibou

Nouadhibou, October 28, 2026 The Minister of Fishing and Maritime and Port Infrastructure, Ms. Aissata Lam, visited the Autonomous Port of Nouadhibou today, where she was welcomed by the Port's General Director, Ahmed Ould Sid’Ahmed Ould DIÉ. The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the port's operations and to follow up on its development projects, where the minister attended a presentation on its activities and conducted a field tour that included several departments, as well as the project for the rehabilitation of the commercial quay and the expansion of the port. This visit allowed for an assessment of the state of port facilities and ongoing projects, as part of efforts to develop infrastructure and improve the operational performance of the port.
